John and Cathy moved to Mack Hill Farm in 1986, after “retiring” from Massachusetts. They had visited the area frequently over the years to hike and ski, and even ice skate on Lake Chocorua. Shortly after arriving at their new home in 1987, they hosted the wedding reception for Janet and Frank, and since that time, have continued to welcome family and friends to share time and adventures with them in the woods, in the garden and the kitchen! This web site offers a glimpse of some of the things that have made Mack Hill Farm such a special place over the years. We are so grateful to John/Dad/Grandpa and Cathy/Mom/Gram for all they have done to care for this place and by extension—for us—for so long.
